(And the Mets win!)

Here here! The Yankees ****!

Woah, I can’t believe there is some sort of auto-censor on this site, but let’s see if this one will get through… The Yankees $uck!

the reasons they didnt win:
1. noone in the front office realizes that spending $200+ milion dollars doesnt guarantee a win in the world series.

2. they have absolutey no team chemistry what soever.

3. other than jeter i dont really think any of them truly care about winning a world series over getting their paychecks.

i was at a pizzarea uno last night and we were watching the end. all the yankees fans left and it was all mets fans waiting for the game, and the roar of those who were watching was incredable.

its just so great to see them loose, now its gonna be how much money can they blow this offseason, and how many games will they loose in the first round next year.

Zaaaaaaaaaaaack-

I set my alarm clock for 6:40 AM this morning but slept right through it all until 7:10ish…is there any way you can post the thing about you on the blog!?!?

I’m soooooooooo upset.

Zack I wouldn’t be making fun of my Yankees…my family is getting season tickets for the ’07 season and when they make it to the postseason, we’d be willin’ to sell you some of our tickets for FACE VALUE!

G40-
Well said. And yes, MLBlogs has a strict filtering system. If you click “Preview” before you post a comment, you can see what it’ll look like, including which (if any) words will get bleeped.

JONELI-

Good points. But I also think the Yankees deserve a break. Every team goes through rough stretches. Even the best teams have losing streaks. Perhaps the Yankees just happened to have one now. Bad timing. And maybe it’s just a matter of bad luck more than anything. I’m not hearing anyone talking about this. On ESPN Radio, the whole thing is A-Rod’s fault and Joe Torre’s fault and Jeter’s fault for not being a real captain…and yet after Game 1 of the ALDS, every Yankee fan was in LOVE with the team. People are such hypocrites. It’s pathetic.

YANKS FAN-

I slept through it, too, and still haven’t seen it. You have to let me make fun of the Yankees at least ONE day out of the year. And don’t be so sure the Yanks will even reach the post-season in 2007. Getting rid of A-Rod would be extremely dumb, and yet your team seems to be considering it. I hope A-Rod does get traded because most Yankee fans don’t deserve him. They don’t deserve to see him hit his 500th home run in pinstripes, and he WILL reach that milestone next year. That said, thanks in advance for considering selling me some tickets. I guess we’ll deal with that if/when the time comes.

Zack-

Just outta curiousity, where were yer seats that were given to you by Rosie O’Donnel for the GrandSlamSingle by Robin Ventura game.

Mezzanine…as in, the green seats in the 3rd deck, kind of behind 3rd base. Bleh. I didn’t even go up there. I just hung out in the Loge.

The Yankees should trade ARod to Baltimore for Nick Markakis and Adam Loewen, then trade Matsui or Abreu (“proven” players) to LA for Andre Ethier, then trade Johnny Damon to LAAOCCA for Ervin Santana. Then you have your outfield (Ethier LF, Melky CF, Markakis RF) and 3/5 of your rotation (Karstens, Wang, Santana) set for 5 years.

Sounds good…but why would all these other teams want to make these trades? It WOULD be fun to see how many homers A-Rod would hit in that pretty little stadium.

I know you don’t check often, so check your email

It was funny, They showed the Yanks vs Tigers game while the dodgers were taking BP…

The whole crowd went nuts when yankees were eliminated. People were chanting “Yankees ****!”

Thanks for the email. Very cool about the crowd at Dodger Stadium.

You are sooooo cruel!!!

John Sterling started it.

Dodgerdude-While watching the games on TV, I noticed there is a large flat area right next to the homeplate side of each dugout, next to the clubhouse tunnels. Are people allowed to stand there during BP, because I can imagine that would be a nice place for autographs.

Chuckster-

That entire area is called the dugout club. the seats behind the dugout to directly behind home plate are a bunch of VIP seats ranging from $350 – $400. You cant get down there without a ticket or a flourescent hand stamp. If you hve a ticket for that area, and actually try, you can get endless amounts of balls and even more autorgraphs from either team. On top of that, you will get a ton of celebs down there.

****. I need official VIP status.

How do you get said fluorescent hand stamp? A friend of mine paid the security guard at Yankee Stadium $20 to let him go from the bleachers to the main stadium. Would it be pricier than that?

The way you get into the stadium, you go through the field level entrance, and than go behind home plate. There is a “Dugout club” sign. Thats the first of three checkpoints for handstamp and tickets.

I think you get the handstamp when you first enter the stadium. I have no clue how much. You also have to get the ticket stub. I’ve done it before they had the handstamps. I reched over the railing and asked for someones ticket stub. hehe.

There is catered food there as well, I’ve assumed that it is included with the cost of the ticket.

and that is the way i like it.at least now i got my boyfriend to stop talking about the yankees.

Hey, check out my Unofficial First Pitch post at

Good luck snagging an NLCS ball…especially this one.

Mark

CHUCKSTER-
I always thought the guards at Yankee Stadium were unbribable. Hmm…

DODGER DUDE-

I’m glad I don’t have to deal with all of that.

KAYLEE-

Since when do you have a boyfriend?

:-)

MARK-

I like it.

oh i have had him for a while now but it is hard being a red soxm fan and having a boyfriend that is a yankees fan especially since he makes me watch every yankees game with him.

I feel your pain.

AN D METS TAKE DOWN THE CARDS!

That was to go from the bleachers to the main stadium. Nobody is unbribeable. Pull out $1000 cash, and you’ll get to go down by the dugout.

KAYLEE-
I like your prediction.

CHUCKSTER-

If I had that kinda money to throw around, I’d just buy a seat by the dugout.

GO METS!
